Why would E. coli have higher results than Fecal Coliform results from the same sample?

During recent sampling for E. coli, most of the sample results were significantly larger then the Fecal numbers. What could possible cause this? Method was membrane filtration reporting in CFU.

If using polymers for flocculant in a waste water treatment plant how often should they have a tox test done?

A wastewater treatment plant is adding dual polymer do reduce TSS, as per their permit they must do tox tests for this. How often and which tests should be done? Thanks

How do you convert a Chlorophyll a reading from ug/L to mg/m2?

My lab readings are in ug/L and the Canadian Water Guidelines are in mg/m2, I am not sure how to convert this, or if it is possible. Thank you
