If the water bound macadam of an existing road is removed due to widening purpose or for the developmental work or for the improvement of road for heavy traffic after 1 year or two, then we can reuse the water bound in the new road, but how much %age of the used water bound will be reused as per engineering standards ( by mixing with the new water bound or with the sub base materials at some other road).

[Also to mention here that the old water bound macadam is sealed with a 50 mm asphaltic wearing course as well, hence some %age of water bound may also adhere to the metaled asphalt and removed with it.
