Reforms in education and curriculum seem to speak more about orientations towards student-centeredness. Student–centred learning is widely used in the teaching and learning literature and curriculum studies. If teacher-centered and student-centeredness is relative (relative?), why are these terms still used or how to use it for what purpose? Are there some difficulties in its implementation of classroom setting, i.e. the belief system of the students and teachers, and students’ lack of familiarity with the term? Has student–cantered learning may necessarily transfer to all countries education or teaching - learning system easily?
