I have found one herbarium sheet (original material) where an worker pasted a slip of lectotype on it. After searching thoroughly, I could not find any published literature relevant to that name so far.
Do you mean that a label indicating that this specimen is a lectotype was pasted on the sheet ? And wonder about the validity of this lectotypification ? But you also that you cannot find any literature about this name, does it mean that this name was not validly publlished ? Are they other specimens with this name ?
In course of our taxonomic study we often find specimens annotated by authors as 'LECTOTYPE' or 'NEOTYPE' but the authors have not published the typifications any where.
Such nomenclatural actions until and unless effectively published have no formal standing
In this case, let us not discuss that typification as valid or invalid. It can not be called 'typified', unless and until the designation is published.
If it is only labeled 'without publication', it is 'untypified'. Perhaps remain as the syntypes or if it is the only part of the original material then possibly holotype.
