I am a masters student and I want to improve my understanding of confounding variables, especially in cross sectional studies. i have read quite a lot about it, and I know that confounding factors can be controled with regression analysis/model. i am conducting a SLR and I need to identify confounders in every study I include. Now, the studies I am using do not necessarily mention what was considered as confounders. instead of statements like this “we adjusted for age and gender using multiple logistic regression model” it says statement like this instead “ chi square test was applied to determine the relationship between vaccination and sociodemographic characteristics” or “ we estimated vaccine coverage and sociodemographic profile using proportion and means and univariate logistic regression was applied to determine relationship between sociodemographic factors and delay immunisation, and factors with p
