Identification of EVE(Endogenous viral elements) from Transcriptomic data?

I have RNA-Seq data that include both plant and viral genome.I am planning to identify EVE apart from other analysis.Unfortunately i haven,t find any literature describing EVE from Transcriptomic data of RNA-Seq. my query is it the right way to identify EVE from RNA-Seq Transcriptomic data?if yes ,please provide some detail or literature.
