I am trying to identify bacteria based on their morphology and color cultured on antibiotic supplemented plates. The protocol says that small circular colony with dark pink center is E. Coli and K. Pneumonia is pink mucoid with large circular margin. Now I have colonies with dark pink center having large circular margins that I am unable to interpret wether it is E. Coli or K. Pneumonia.
