As part of my research on the sex business, I received answers to a questionnaire from 206 sex workers in my country. I would like to extend my research to the surrounding countries, also within the framework of possible cooperation. However, organizations that have access to sex workers don't want to cooperate.
Do you have any idea how to proceed, how to get to the research sample of sex workers abroad (I understand that it is very difficult)?
Is there anyone who has done similar research and might be interested in collaborating?

Hi there.
An interesting avenue may be to consider reaching out to persons in the criminal-legal system. My team focuses on sexual health related topics with women who have been incarcerated.
Our focus isn't specifically on those who exchange sex, but our surveys ask those questions, and we receive much data! I suggest working with your incarceration system and change the method of requesting data. We ask the women questions like " have you had to exchanged sex for life necessities" for example. We are very careful with the terms we use.
Also, we don't ask the facilities if we can talk to 'sex workers', we ask if we can work with them to ask questions about health like "how their health has been affected by being incarcerated (an example)" . It's all about wording.
Again, our focus isn't Sex exchange, but we've received A LOT of data on this subject.
