Until 2011, hybriding conducting polymers (PANI, PPy, PEDOT) on carbon material (CNT, GNS, etc) had been popular and emphasized for enhancing the supercapacitor capacity by 1) adjusting amount of C.polymer, 2) Structure controlling etc.
I would like to know what kinda of method do researchers use for supercapacitor these days. [I would need some reference papers since I need to report it to my professor]

Now a days people are mostly interested in hybrid supercapacitor which has both double layer and pseudo capacitance properties.As you know that mostly carbon material are used for doule layer supercapacitor where as we use Metal oxide for pseudo capacitance...Hybrid type super capacitor is a combination of both and provide excellent electrochemical properties,gives ultrahigh specific capacitance which results in high energy and power density....so current trend of supercapacitor is Hybrid-type supercapacitor...
