You may check our paper on landscape historical development, and genetic diversity in Moor frog, Rana arvalis populations: the timing of landscape fragmentation had clear impact on the genetic differentiation between populations, which we compared for two different landscapes in the Netherlands. We found an isolation by distance pattern, with use of microsatellite data.
