You can use ASLD (see www.ASLDweb.com ). It allows to simulate several gain media in a resonator and single and double pass amplifiers.

You can use MATLAB SOFTWARE/DESIGN EXPERT SOFTWARE/MATAHMATICA INDICA SOFTWARES.
To save you hectic time for coding and debugging and again coding, I would reccommend to use MATLAB or SCILAB software.
If you're going to use it again and again for same pattern for various variables, then prefer Graphical User Interface (GUI) platform. It's time saving and very effective.
I know it will take considerable amount of time but still it will definitely helps you at the end to get the iterative sort of stuff within the few minutes.
Just you need to put a quality programming time in framing the code for GUI template, and then its just a cake walk. Just put the parameters and enjoy the solution development.
