Please note that ResearchGate is neither a journal nor a publisher, you cannot "publish" an article here. In addition to what Wolfgang R. Dick wrote, I would add that you can post your writing as a preprint (https://help.researchgate.net/hc/en-us/articles/14293104044177-Preprints). The idea of a preprint is to get feedback before publishing to a journal.
If you want to share your insights as an academic, you really should be sharing your work through academic conferences and academic journals. Not simply posting them on a platform like ResearchGate. One of the reason for this is that you want to get your peers to critique your work so you can improve and and so others can build on it. However, preprints are also a step in that direction.
