I want to find the impact of terrorism on socio-emotional safety in school. My research hypothesis is terrorism has an impact on socio-emotional safety.
Can anyone guide me whether can I test my hypothesis through the questions like in the attached file?
Sorry, Muhammad, not so good idea that questionaire. You have nothing to compare the answers with. You CAN NOT say, because the mean is high (e.g. above 4), terrorism affects safty feelings. These means could be due to mere answering style etc. You NEED to have either an external variable on school level (several schools, and you know if they experienced terror or not) and all the questionaire is your dependent variable. OR you have to design other Questions, some assessing "is there terrorism around your school", others assessing "are you feeling anxiety" etc. So "seperate assessments of both constructs", as you said, for both types of designs.
I am trying to design some questions to measure both the variables separately.
