Exciton binding energy = Bandgap energy - Exciton absorption energy
I got this equation from a book. I already have bandgap. I found that from Optical density versus Energy graph (from UV) can give the excitonic peaks. The energy of the first excitonic peak can be used as the exciton absorption energy. But I do not know how to plot O.D Vs Energy from UV data. Please help me to calculate the excitonic binding energy for my perovskite solar cell device. Thank you.

The optical density by definition is the logarithm of the inverse of the transmission.
Then you need to measure the optical transmission of the material, invert it and build its logarithm. That is the optical density O.D= log (1/ transmission). Since you can measure the transmission at certain incident photon energy, then all what you need after that is to calculate the O.D and plot it versus the Eph, the photo energy.
