In my work, I needed to put copper oxide in the acid, like (Hcl, H2SO4), but the color changed. Can I continue, or has it separated and returned to its original state? Or could you suggest a method to protect the oxide?
Dear Nina Bou, basic chemical reactions are outlined in the link below. Also there is a well know process underling the exploitation of such reactions of CuO with inorganic acids, it is the leaching process, may be it will be beneficial after extended reading about. My Regards
