I noticed that most of the time HPLC and LC-MS method are used for the phospholipid analysis. Does that mean GC/MS is not suitable for that?
A part from HPLC, we have tried using LC/MS but the phospholipids standard and lecithin sample is not properly dissolving in the mobile phase (i.e., methanol, acetonitrile and water), and the LC/MS machine can not use hexane which can easy dissolve the sample and standard. That is why I am looking for condition to try the GC/MS. Kindly advice on that.
