Hypnotic Medication is now known to exacerbate the symptoms of Dementia. Yet it is precisely in the age group most at risk of this that H.M is most prescribed. My aim is to examine the prevelence with a view to stregenthing the requirement for strict guidelines for prescribing for the at risk group.who are in Residential care ( Care Homes / Nursing Homes)
