The easiest way: you have to open Eviews, then click on Adds-in-->Download Adds-in, search for the add-in you need (NARDL) and click Install.

I have seen your zip file. and has everything you need to run that program, in the txt file, explains the contents of the files and the description of the functions created.

Now, all you have to do is double click on the file 01_doitall.prg and you will see Eviews create a workfile with the elements written in the readme.txt text file.

Then if you want, you can fit the text of the program because it is a plain text file that you will execute by changing the parameters you want.

Hi, I hope you are doing well. I was hoping someone could please assist me. I downloaded and installed the NARDL add in on Eviews 11. But when I try use the add in I get the following error message pop up "Error 2142 in encrypted programs" I have updated Eviews 11 and also deleted and reinstalled the add in, but still get the same error. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

In Eviews in order to use the NARDL we have to first specify the variable whose asymmetric values are sought. After generating the ARDL result go to view>label> Just below description type asyvars: > tab> enter the variable name> go back to estimated output and then try running the NARDL in the proc> add in. You should get the result.

I have exactly done in the same way that you have explained. But after finishing all these when I press "make it NARDL" , it came up with an error message "LN_K_POS_POS is not defined". How can I solve this issue?

Note: LN_K is one of my independent variables.
