Hi, I am going to start my final year project of Bachelors in Environmental science, I had chosen Glaciers of third pole focusing at"GILGIT BALTISTAN" , I need help for selection of my research topic.
I have the following topics in my mind, i will welcome any suggestion or amendment in my selection of topic.
1- A participatory solution to melting Glaciers.
2-Studying of reasons and solutions of melting glaciers
3- Study of traditional practices for conservation of glaciers in Northern Pakistan.

There is no local solution to the global warming problem, but the community can take on alternate energy sources to do their part in the reduction of emissions. Barrow currently uses natural gas. The purpose of this report is to discuss the current state of food and environment in the field of natural resources like soil, ocean, climate and melting glaciers and their affects. By examining a range of academic articles in summary books, newspaper articles and internet sites on the topic of food and environment, It's a big signal, the meaning of which we're going to sort out for years to come. "It is not only simply the food or the environment that we should think about, but also the connection between. More systematic development need to be considered by government, organizations and companies. Think of a glacier as a huge ice box with the answers about how our world was a long time ago locked inside. All we have to do is open up the ice box and find the answers. We study glaciers for many reasons. We can find out how the atmosphere was and what kind of mammals lived thousands of years ago. Scientists also teach all of us about the wonders of glaciers. In the past million years there have been nine full glacial periods, separated by much shorter interglacial, or warm spells.
Each glacial period lasted about 100,000 years.
Each interglacial period lasted about 10,000 years.
In traditional societies, sustainable natural resource management is driven by the beliefs and behaviors of human communities, and local cultures are strengthened by their intimate connections to the natural environment that sustains. Our modern world is often poorer for the scientific rationalism that treats objective and sacred knowledge as separate spheres, while traditional cultures do not make such distinctions.

10. If the rate of sea level rise in the past ten years was twice century we are likely going to more than another seven inches of land.
