Baseline correction was done for the data , but few are looking like the absorbance peaks , can anyone kindly tell the reason for this.
Without the unsubtracted spectrum it is hard to tell whether the processing was done properly. Can you also share that one?
OK, how did you perform the subtraction? Did you use a blind spectrum of an empty cuvette or manually? And what is the unit of the spectrum, where is the 100%, or is that an arbitrary unit plot?
OK, so it's an ATR spectrum, that was important. Have you tried measuring a background spectrum of your stamp/substrate and subtracting that from the spectrum with the coating?
Ok, but the spectrum you took must have been calibrated against something, right?
Btw, have you seen this older discussion on ATR baselines? If not, is there anything helpful for you in it?
