Generally  for Tio2 dispersion  ethanol is best solvent.

For the  mesoporous TiO2 layer, mesoporous-TiO2 layers were made by spin-coating a commercially available TiO2paste (1:3.5) .

                          Tio2:ethanol ratio 1:3.5 wt%

Please clarify me on TiO2 dispersion. What does it really mean? 

If you have TiO2 powder, maybe you can mix the cellulose and ethanol to make the slurry. And this process need to be milled to disperse the powder.

You can dissolve in Ethanol and Methanol. Ethanol is better.

For more clarification to what has been said by the colleagues,by mixing the fine TIO2 powder with ethanol the fine particles of the TIO2 will be suspended in the ethanol. It then appears as a slurry.

i am trying to make TiO2 thin film... using TiO2 powder as a solute n ethanol as a solvent...but m confused.. how much quantity i can use to get homogeneous solution..

I have a question. For thin and transparent cooating layer, Can I use TiO2 solution (with ethanol) as a dip coating solution?

or I should use Titanium isopropoxide and hydrolyzed it?

TiO2 dissolve in distilled water by using magnetic stirrer at 60 C
