You can heat the gel to about 90°C for sometime and then mill the dried gel to obtain powder

You can use the suspension polymerization process. You will get beads that you can usually dry to obtain a powder.

it appears to coagulate while drying that may lead to a bulk? So how can we dry the beads avoiding this phenomenon?
