In the green synthesis process, we make the aqueous solution of precursors and put it on the hot plate and stir it. Then to this precursor solution, we add the aqueous extract of the plant where the constituents of plants work as reducing as well as capping agent. Finally, we add some base solution to increase the pH. My doubts are:

1. While adding the plant extract in the precursor solution, what is the role of heating there?

2. If we use purified constituent of the plant, which is working as a reducing agent it could be also a green/biosynthesis of nanoparticles?
