Hello every body .i have problem in doing steglish estrification i have two reactants in which one have OH group attach and the 2nd reactant which have carboxylic acid(COOH) group attach.and my 2nd reactant is expensive and i have already followed two different methods but my NMR result is uncorrected.so i donot waste the chemicals to trying again ,therefore i have write my method which i have followed ,if some knows the correct method and have followed please guide me i will be thankfull to you.should i have follow steglish estrification or fischer estrification?i did not try fischer estrification.

(1) Alcohol 1 mmol (239.741 mg) (2) carboxylic acid 1.12 mmol (245 mg) (3) DMAP 3 mmol (366.3 mg) (4) EDC.HCL 1.5 mmol (287.55 mg) (5) Anhydrous dichloromethane (10 ml) (6) Reaction time (18 hours)

i: 1 mmol (239.741 mg) (ii) 1 mmol (204 mg) (iii) DMAP 0.2 mmol (24.43 mg) (iv) EDC.HCL 1 mmol (191.70 mg) (v) Anhydrous dichloromethane (4 ml) (vi) Reaction time (24 hours)
