Did you have used a reducing agent or stabilizer which absorbs in the visible spectrum. You do not have washed the silver nanoparticles.

The peak at 450 nm is due to surface plasmon resonance from Ag nanoparticles. Whereas, the 710 nm peak is due to silver oxide. There are several silver oxides with different energy gap from 1.2 - 3.4 eV.
