I had to do it for all my students, so I cannot have a control group. I found Pearson correlations for the info I obtained on a questionnaire that I made, between Independent learning training (ILT) and achievement, student effort and achievement. The questionnaire was checked by 3 other Biology lecturers. The alpha reliability was .95

However because the topics covered that semester included Respiration and Photosynthesis that I also used mnemonic strategies, I also found r-values for each mnemonic and achievement. Should I report everything when I write up my first paper?

I read several journal articles. Most of them were descriptive, providing various definitions of autonomous, self-directed, independent learning and independent learners. One of them described that the respondents were able to write papers for conferences, another reported the success in percentage figures. But so far, I couldn't find papers reporting r-values of Independent learning and achievement.

So my questions: Should I report everything that I did, when I write up my first paper? Even the r-values for the mnemonics and achievement? And how can I improve my study for the next cycle of action research on independent learning?
