i am using different media to check the growth and production. production medium are M9, LB and 2YT. culture condition are pH 7, RPM 200, temperature 30. i am studying the effect of physical parameter on growth and production.

How to prevent clumping formation to enhance cell density.
Well, you could grow a control strain (either no plasmid or empty vector) at the same time to see if it a growth condition induced clumping or something specific to your lycopene production.
In addition to the suggestion by Amy Klocko you might also just try a new transformant if it turns out to be the strain and not due to lycopene production. Sometimes you just pick a funny colony and upon retransformation things go back to normal.
