1. To review the process of development of central banking in India, its evolving structure and its functioning since its inception.
2. To examine the regulatory and developmental role played by the Reserve Bank of India.
3. To find out the constraints in smooth functioning of Reserve Bank of India.
4. To examine the relationship between the Reserve Bank of India and Central Government.
Hello sir. it's really a nice topic for research ...but in the last few years we didn't saw any innovation in research related banking sector especially in south Asian countries ....so f you are working in the banking sector I highly recommend you go for innovation ...and show something new to society and also institutions. for example some new changes and innovations in accounts, banking employment, usage of electronic banking in a new era, etc.

Jan H Jansen , Not at all... it is about evolution of central banking, its present status and future outlook. CBDC is just current hot topic of discussion.
CBDC is not anymore a hot topic! In a lot of countries in the world there are experiments with CBDC …UK, ECB, FED USA, BIS, Rijksbank Sweden, PRC, Russia … so this is also the future in central banking. If you read publications of those central banks … it is not anymore a hype, but a serious issue about the future of monetary system
