I have an application in which I am writing a scientific program in Excel in order to make it portable for others to use. I get a response "You entered too many arguments for this function".
My suggestion is to copy that formula and then paste it in Notepad++. I hope you using Notepad++, if not, I will add it is completely FREE. In Notepad++, when you paste your formula into new file, you will be able to "find" did you used all brackets properly. For example when you bring your cursor in front of some left bracket it will change the color into red color, but at the same time you will be able to see which right bracket is also in red color. I believe you agree how for me it is hard to find an error in the code written by others... However, I will try later to check your formula too...
Thank you for this suggestion. I have already made an effort to test the bracketing by enlarging the expression and doing the pairing manually, but I will follow your suggestion and look forward to any further assistance by you and by others. After successfully completing simulations I will post the results on my website www.newpathresearch.com, where you can see downloads for simulating scanning tunneling microscopy and our new method for imaging using laser-assisted scanning tunneling microscopy.
