Since my drug is soluble in mentha oil, i am selecting as a oil phase. But some paper reported mentha oil irritate the skin. So, Will it be possible to possible to formulate for o/w emulsion for oral delivery. I am facing the problem in formulating the microemulsion. Please help in this regard.

If you have sufficient information/ literature review suggesting that it causes irritation to skin and mucous membrane you should look for an alternative as the patient compliance and safety are of utmost importance in addition to the efficacy however you should also be careful in taking references and its authenticity as we can find n numbers of articles and journals.
and also check the solubility in olive oil and labrafil.
