I am trying to do hand tracking with opencv in a depth stream. What method should I use?

I have segmented the hands at the first frame and I am trying to track them to extract trajectories for a machine learning task. I am currently using depth stream. Is there a robust method to do the tracking??? Camshift is obviously failing badly.
