Knowing that DMSO is widely used as dissolving agent in the Artemia salina lethality test also known as brine shrimp lethality test to evaluate the pharmaceutical properties of natural products. Unfortunately my samples are not soluble in this solvent. what other solvent should use?
I suggest using a sequence of solvents with varying polarities n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol to ensure that all active metabolites are effectively dissolved.
i suggest Acetone but make sure to test the solubility of your compounds in these solvents before proceeding.
