The two nets were rotated weakly between two huts, and the number of mosquitoes found in the hut, the number of dead mosquitoes and blood fed mosquitoes per day are my interest. Which method is appropriate? The experiment was done over 10 weeks.
Go for Simple t-test. It is robust, you can make all types of comparisons viz, per day variation, per week variation between both dead as well as blood fed mosquitoes.
I was confused whether this study is a repeated cross over design or not. The treatments in this case nets rotate weakly between the two huts. so I was expecting only two treatment sequence (i.e, treated net followed by untreated net or vise verse) as a cross over but in this case the experiment is done for 10 weeks. if the experiment was done only for one week and no treatment rotation, i was planning to compare the number of mosquito found in the hut using negative binomial regression and dead and blood feed mosquito using logistic.
Hello Belay Birlie, I don't have time to specifically search for the exact answer but here is a link to a page or two that may have an answer for you. All the best with your work. Regards, Debbie

Hello Belay, please just put your email in this reply as I cannot see this in the info. I will try and get the full text for you today as I can imagine that in Ethopia things are much more basic. Thanks Debbie
Sorry Belay, it is not published yet so I can't get full text. I also don't think that I have access to this journal from my computer so sorry I don't think I can help you further. Please contact the author direct. If this doesn't work, you can contact me again and next time I am visiting the library I will ask for you but that may not be until next year. Thanks, Debbie
Hi Belay, you are welcome I'm glad to help you. However while I realised I had a temporary trial usage of Wiley online, it is still not allowing me full text access. If you join http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/ you can buy this PDF, I am sorry that I cannot afford to purchase this so that I can send it to you however if you have someone you know with subscription to this library maybe they can send it to you. Email me back if you have no success and I will email a couple of people in Australia.
Kind Regards, Deborah

sometimes Wiley have free trial access for 30 days but I have not really made much use of that in the past so I'm not sure what this trial access allows you to access
