Our goal is to freeze-dry a geopolymer liquid binder and stop geopolymerization for production of a dry powder. This has been already done by several researchers, but in tiny quantities (our need is in the 500 g range). We are looking for a lab which has such equipment, located in Europe, best not to far from our Geopolymer Institute, Saint-Quentin (France).

Dear Prof. Davidovits,
a laboratory we work with is equipped with a Lyophilizer mod. Lio 5P that would seem suitable for your purpose. They never used for specimens larger than a cup of coffee, but, if you are interested, they could try a few tests.

Dear prof. Davidovits,
we have produced porous geopolymer monoliths by freeze casting (ice templating), as you can see in our papers published in 2015 -2016. After that we have produced also samples up to 15x15 cm but the shelf of our freeze dryer is about 30x30 cm. It allows potentially to freeze dry high amounts of suspensions.
