Many work are available,mostly as pilot project.Issues related in low income countries are whether we are intrested to promote health or technology which is again we are diverting resources somewhere else.Balance to both is good initiative.Ultimately some innovative ways of doing things at low cost and high yield is always preferable to less resources countries .Diebetes and hypertension management has been shown good result in many publications .

Anyhow keeping your concerns, you can think for digitizing self monitoring for chronic hepatitis B or C, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic kidney disease, and kidney stones, I think exploring them would lead to good contribution.
