Hello, I am designing a bow-tie antenna for cancer detection and I have two question so far:
1- how can I increase the working frequency? now it is working in 800MHz and I want to make it works in 900MHz?
2- I used these slots for the patch in a random way I didn't follow any specific equation, is there any specific equation that I can follow for these slots to make it more scientific?

you can increase the lowest resonance frequency by decreasing the length of the antenna. Another solution is to increase the angle of the triangles.

You can increase your frequency by two possibilities; either you decrease the size of your antenna, or you will use another material for the antenna substrate.

I already tried both of your suggestions but they did not work.
I should keep the size of antenna fix 5cm. I tried to make it shorter(smalled) but that effected the dB of S11 parameter coz I should keep it less than -20dB.
Antenna should dissipate a part of its input power.That could be done through its lumped resistive loading, loading by an absorber from backside or by loading with the media from from side or combined all above. The bio tissues are normally lossy and that can help if the antenna is on the air-tissue surface and pressed again the tissue. It is a key to find and optimal balance between amount of introduced losses and impedance bandwidth to get. Antenna shape is less important compared to its dissipative loading.
