I am attaching my design and result of Gains.S11 parameter is less than -10dB from 3.1 to 9.8 Ghz.Z11 magnitude also lies between 40 -60 ohm for this range .Still gain is negative. Pls help
A negative directive gain in a certain direction means radiated power is less than the average value. If the gain is negative in all directions, then the antenna is not working (radiating properly). This can happen at certain frequencies, or when the antenna is not properly matched.For more on this have a look at :
Negative gain (In dB) is possible for antennas. The value depends upon the directivity of the antenna. From the graph it is observed that the Phi and Theta values are '0's. Try varying Theta and Phi values. If you want positive gains at those values only means then the structure needs to be modified.
