I am conducting an experiment for solar cell using two type of substrate, i.e. n-type silicon and p-type silicon. On which I have used n-type graphene (on both of the substrate). Photovoltic effect was observed in n-type silicon, however, no change was observed in p-type silicon. I wonder what was the reason?

n-type of graphene is observed using hall measurement.
