Neither is actually renewable. Both have serious problems as a fuel. NH3 can be quite hazardous and H2 has the invisible flame and heating value problems
Dear Mostafa, both hydrogen and ammonia are currently being praised as the keys to a bright, climate-friendly future. I'm not a proven expert in this field, but in principle I agree with Rick Manner in that both gases have severe disadvantages. Ammonia is quite toxic, while hydrogen is highly flammable and even explosive when mixed with air. I would certainly not want to drive a car which is fueled by hydrogen!

Dear Mostafa Ibrahim El-Shafie, the previous two replies have valid points. Both hydrogen and ammonia can be regarded as carbon-free but with many negative issues. I am trying to understand why some companies keep doing it; maybe there is something beyond it that we do not know.
You may want to google "The Truth about Hydrogen" and watch the first video (15 minute duration) in the search results. That video presents some quantitative comparisons that imply the many negative aspects about hydrogen.

Currently, hydrogen received great interest as carbon-free energy. However, storage and transportation are too costly (at pressure 700 bar).
I think ammonia can be the best solution to use as a clean hydrogen energy carrier with different advantages as transportation and storage at 10 bar.
is it possible to use ammonia as a pure fuel in ICE?
