After Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine, leading to Ukraine's exit from the Soviet systems, there was an amazing surplus through early 2000's of white women and young men with PhD's, that, under the Clinton and Bush administrations failure to stop illegal human trafficking, were deceived into prostitution and sex slavery in Europe, Africa, Israel, American continent, and the Middle East with promises of professional employment according to their academic achievement. The only way to stop it is for trafficking investigators to go into India, Ukraine and other countries to combat the trafficking at its recruitment point, and to have destination countries such as the USA provide the structures within India and Ukraine to provide a real future for these academics. This actually requires a military and State Department collaboration since local police and city administrators are involved in the trafficking abduction process. A clear example is Libya, where millions have departed for Italy through illegal human trafficking based on deceit, and hundreds of thousands, some with professional qualifications such as PhD's and a Women's Olympic Track outstanding athlete, Samia Yusuf Omar, routinely die trying to cross the Mediterranean. I co-ordinated my project between Brussa's NGO in Holland, a university near Kyiv, Ukraine and Washington State University and being born and raised in Europe I knew that US approaches were severely flawed in cover-ups and thus found UN related experts and former soviet universities that still work with Africa and India and China to have better suggestions. Local universities and ngo's in the countries do usually have a better strategy to account for the hidden statistics. For example last year the Italian government lost track, maybe purposefully, of 35,000 migrants from Africa and Middle East asking for exile protection - they could be dead or the same one unique name on an Italian issued visa is being used by 10 or 100 different persons if counterfeit visas are sold/used.

At WSU a US history professor, Paul Hirt, was sleeping with beautiful faculty near Kyiv, Ukraine while on a US State Department Grant project he authored that ran several years, and paid off the beautiful Ukrainian Russian PhD's with promises of positions in the US and State Department paid airline flights r.t. to the US - he obviously thought of them as prostitutes, and having no opportunity they returned within a couple of weeks. A real racket I saw as a graduate student at WSU that inspired me to write my NIH project for my PhD against illegal trafficking/recruitment. Once on site at the university near Kyiv I saw that the US State Department funded and constructed first class 'Guest House' (it was better furnished and the restaurant more luxurious than the dwellings of Ukrainian citizens) was now a house of prostitution using Ukrainian/Russian university students as prostitutes for visiting 'professionals' (usually German) rather than the former US 'professors'. It was the only 'hotel' in Pereyaslav (Kyiv) region so I rented a room w/ a great dinner and breakfast for only one night as I was driving through to Moscow visiting Russian friends there (2008).
