An interesting area of research us combining HRM with SCM fonction. The SCM function lacks research on how to deal with talent gap / talent shortage. In addition, there are very very very few research about diversity (even gender diversity) in SCM. Also, the topic of competencies is a hot topic with the great digitalisation wave in SCM. We définitively need HRM researchers on those topics.
