I don't think so... there are too many parameters... pump pressure, dimensions of column, material of column, system you are using (length of the tubes etc)...

´Why not? this database might be done by HPLC producers to increase their sellings. This knowledge might provide a new insight towards natural product productions under optimal conditions for certain systems. There might also be an open access for certain systems, you can upload HPLC conditions if sure.... Literature in some cases is not available to run HPLC system when you need...

Benjamin, I agree with you but there is databases for NMR, MS, all sort of things I guess, interesting that there is nobody that tried to compile data over the years!

Simone, I agree thats what I do, but it can be time consuming and sometime very frustratiing when the compound is not in the literature.

I just googled around and found some Phd thesis, which was evaluating a screen for toxicologically important molecules (mostly drugs) by using HPLC (different columns), a DAD, and different eluents and screening over 2600 compounds.

The only problem is that it's in german ;-)
