I've attached a photo of two models. Model 1 does not have a slot, whereas model 2 does. If you look at both of these models' radiation patterns after adding a slot, the radiation pattern in the xz plane or phi=90 appears asymmetric! There is no form of asymmetric behavior without a slot!
How would you explain the asymmetric radiation pattern in the H-plane for a coplanar Vivaldi antenna?
Your feed goes very close to the lower slot and this might be producing radiation off one side of the board?
Move the lower slots. Shorten the lower slots. Leave out the lower slots. Change the shape of the lower slots. Examine the currents on the two sides of the ground plane. Look at the fields in the volume around the ground plane. There a lots of things you can do with modelling that are difficult or slow to do in hardware.
