The concept of colonizing Mars is like pissing into the wind. You can try but you are not going to like the results.

As far as terraforming Mars, the idea is ridiculous. Would someone explain to me the reasoning behind making another planet livable while destroying the environment of the only planet we can live on?

Far better we spend every penny we now spend, on colonizing Mars, on developing an interstellar drive so we can find another planet elsewhere to live on.

Impossible? In 1824 flying was impossible. You had to take your family to town looking at the asshole of a horse. Two if you had money. The first American train wasn't built until 1830.

Interstellar travel may be impossible. All the extraterrestials so many believe in know better.

Odd how so many people who believe in Musk's plan to colonize Mars also believe in UFO’s or UAP’s. My question is if extraterrestials are here, why waste all that money trying to go to Mars?

As for life already on Mars, centuries of analyzing has found all living molecules are carbon based. Earth sits on the inner edge of the habitable zone, Mars beyond the outer edge.

There isn't a single reason to believe lifeforms are based on anything other than carbon molecules. All lifeforms require the same things to exist and evolve and no lifeform, that isn't carbon based, has been found.

That doesn't make a viral agent unique to Mars any less dangerous but it isn't going to burst from an egg and bore through your face visor either
