What kind of new environments did the people experience when fleeing from the drained continents? Probably if the end of the twenty-first century due to the progressive procesm global warming average temperature of the Earth's surface to increase by 3-4 degrees Celsius to most areas in tropical, subtropical and temperate some of the areas will not be suitable for survival. People will have to emigrate to the arctic regions.

a large capital, Visas, Language proficiency and other formalities etc, etc, which is not a solution for masses.
People need to combat the climate change, which require implementation of firm climate change policies
but, some recent reports says that
a number of largest oil and gas companies like Shell, Chevron, BP and ExxonMobil etc, spend nearly $200 million a year lobbying to delay, control or block policies to tackle climate change.
So Humans have to be self-conscious, if they want the earth to sustain for a little longer by combating global warming
and decide, if they want a small group of people (Capitalists and Politicians) taking decisions for us, and denying climate change
As we still don't have Planet-B.
So choosing right people for making right Government, which can frame right policies to keep human survival as their "Focal Point".

If we look at the long historical journey of human civilization, we can see and infer that it went on and on.......still going on ......sometimes changing the course, modifying the immediate destination, deviating from a constant speed towards acceleration or deceleration. Of course, a few civilization could not survive due to multiple factors.
The consequences of global warming is probably being overemphasized than what it actually is. No study has confirmed that the graph of warming is continuously going upwards and out of control. The prediction is on the basis of certain data and the projected fear would turn into a reality only if we allow this to go as it is by sitting idle with absolute inaction from our end.
But situation is not that scary. Our alertness may not be comprehensive in totality, but I firmly believe that no sensible human being would prefer annihilation resulting in devastation of their own existence as well as the nature.
