Attached paper describes colorimetric detection of calcium. However, if you have access to spectrofluorimeter or fluorescence microscope, there are many probes to detect calcium levels in cells such as fura2, fluo 4, fluo 8 etc.
Alpana Singh detection with probes like FLUO 4, Fura 2, etc can be done with spectrofluorimeter and microscopy. i want some alternate ways to detect calcium becoz this time i have no access to spectrofluorimeter and with microscopy its not possible to measure quantitative changes

Saba Tariq i want to see quantitative changes because i m screening molecules for TRPV4 inhibitory potential. I think qualitative wouldn't work.
