can anybody help me?!
I'm researching on depositing pyrolytic carbon for about a month and I really stuck on the characterization methods. because the distinguishing this material from graphite is really complicated and detailed. totally in the researches there are 3 mainly characterization methods which are 1-polarized light microscopy 2- SEM and 3- Raman spectroscopy analyze (more often used)
any body can help me even a small help to get acquainted with this method ? I want to understand either pyrolytic carbon has formed or not ? the texture order is not important for me.

Raman spectroscopy can be used to distinguish pyrolytic carbon from graphite based on their different Raman spectra. Pyrolytic carbon typically exhibits a broader D-band and G-band and a lower intensity 2D-band compared to graphite. The D-band is typically associated with disorder and defects in the carbon structure, while the G-band is associated with the in-plane vibrational modes of sp2 hybridized carbon atoms. The 2D-band is also associated with sp2 hybridized carbon atoms and is a measure of the number of layers in the sample.
To determine whether pyrolytic carbon has formed or not, one can look for the characteristic peaks in the Raman spectra that are associated with pyrolytic carbon. The specific peak positions and intensities may vary depending on the specific conditions of the pyrolytic carbon deposition process.

I would be grateful if you could answer my other question "what is the structural difference between pyrolytic carbon and soot carbon, which is produced from incomplete combustion in reactions?"
and basically what conditions are needed for carbon to grow pyrolytically or to be deposited as soot?

Pyrolytic carbon is a material that is produced by the pyrolysis of hydrocarbons. It is used for several applications in electronic thermal management: thermal-interface material, heat spreaders (sheets) and heat sinks (fins). It is occasionally used to make tobacco pipes. It is used to fabricate grid structures in some high-power vacuum tubes. It is used as a monochromator for neutron and X-ray scattering studies (Wikipedia).
Soot carbon, on the other hand, is a byproduct of the incomplete combustion of carbon-based materials for the generation of energy or heat, or for the disposal of waste (Pyrolytic Carbon - an overview...). Soot formation and evolution are complex processes that depend on many factors such as fuel type, temperature, pressure, residence time, and turbulence (Carbon black and soot: two different substances...). The conditions required for carbon to grow pyrolytically or to be deposited as soot depend on these factors and can vary widely depending on the specific application (Measurement of elemental carbon (EC) and organic carbon (OC)...).
