how we calculate the area of heat transfer for different perforation shape? did the equivelent area works here? how it effect on a calculation? is there any correction factor for it?
Either the heat transfer area is equal or the hydraulic diameter of perforated is the same for the purpose of comparison in the thermal performance of different perforation shapes.
Dear Hameed if you elaborate a bit more your research problem then I think you may get the right answer. However as per your query in my opinion equivalent area will also work for the analysis purpose.
