Battery manufacturer looks for 2 things: (1) is there any techniques to accurately predict the cell quality in shorter time than waiting for 2 weeks and measure its voltage drop? Your techniques will address this point well, I think so. But the tech must be applicable for mass production. (2) method to reduce the effect of this this microshort, meaning transform it in less harmful form. This is more attractive because it will reduce the rejection rate of cell production, and increase yield of production line.
