If we want to write a case study do we require permission of management of an organization. Or can we write a case without disclosing the identify of organization or individual. I have underwent case study training but could not gain useful insights.
Please also need a model case study which you have published and the process of how you did it.
I will be grateful to anyone who help in this regard?

Dear Kishore, there are inevitable ethical considerations that need to be taken into account. Kindly find the attached paper of a study that used an exploratory qualitative case study design. I found it useful in the methodical manner in which the paper presents the conception of the research, different sources of data used for exploration, and how a case study could be written up. In a qualitative study, and for that matter any empirical study, ethical issues are paramount. In order to carry out a study on any organization, you must first seek permission from them. Just by using pseudonyms would not suffice.
Also remember that if you do not have permission to conduct the study, you will not be able to get access to employees, premises, records, artifacts etc. which form the basis of data collection for the study.
And lastly, the methodology of the case study depends upon the objectives of the study, the nature of your site, research questions and so on. It is impossible for anyone to suggest a 'model' without these important information.
Please study Charmaz, Stake, Merriam and Yin thoroughly; this will give you a better understanding of case studies, grounded theory and other aspects of qualitative research,.
